Tell us about something about Paolo Pagnini Photography? I think that photography was born with me, I've always been fascinated by the fact that you remember forever what I appreciated even for a moment. After years as an amateur photographer, I've chosen to transform my studio as a meeting place for professional photographers.
Where do you find inspiration and why you like photography?
"Every project and the work of an artist should be the expression of an adventure of his soul" S. Maugham
I always try and dream big adventures ... capture moments in the world that revolves around me, is a great adventure!
What’s your creative process like? I am known as a landscaper, but for some time I love to tell stories using a series of images presented in portfolio. My current equipment is very modest and I love to use non-conventional devices such as a pinhole 120 in analog format toy cameras such as Holga, Diana, Lomo etc. I've also experimented with some photographer friends some "old printing techniques" with stunning results.
Can you name one great photographer that inspires you with his works and why?
Feininger, Cartier Bresson, Giacomelli, Scianna, Berengo Gardin, and Marrozzini friend , are authors whom I respect very much, and during my photographic experience they showed me interesting direction as a continuing source of my inspiration.
"The photographers that attracts me are often giving me way to creative fantasies today, when digital is closer to all of us." Paolo Pagnini
If you have something else to add just tell us. I also produced several photo books and calendars of art. My latest publications are: "Maritime-Rosignano landscapes and cultures of past and present." and "The Volterra from the road of the heart".
Thank you very much for the opportunity that you wanted me and available for any request.
